Life on the Fast lane

Jeez....

It's a bright Saturday morning. Well, not exactly bright as I saw some dark clouds on my way out.

I'm in school, in a computer lab with my laptop plugged into the powerpoint. You must be wondering why am I still using my laptop when I'm in a room full of COMPUTERS. Lets just say that there's something about my laptop that couldn't be explained, especially with regards to projects.

The boys are not here yet, that's why I'm blogging.

My precious is sick..

Gee, a list price of $59,800 with COE, 1.6 DOHC VVT, 5-speed manual, 125bhp @ 6800rpm, 0-100km/h in 8.9secs, MONROE dampers, Recaro seats. Budget hot hatch? Definately. My kind of car? You bet. So what's stopping me?

Well, actually the bank account is.

Some nonsense

OK, its Thursday, 28 September 2006. I have only 3 days to 2 deadlines and 4 days to another. After that, I have 29 days to my first paper for the final examiations. I have so many things to do, so little time, and so many things to decide.

As if things are not bad enough, I have a mob briefing next Wednesday and mob standby from 17th to 24th October. How many times do they want to do that??

Why do I also have this feeling that my desktop PC is gonna give up its ghost soon?

I simply adore being fed by her...

Cheats!

This is absolutely hilarious, but what a poor reflection of the game today..

If you want to dive, head to the pool, not the football pitch.

Bzzz...

Is it just me, or does Terence Cao really looks and talks like he's constipated when acting?

The semester is coming to an end.. Goodness gracious me.

It just pains me to see dear working so hard and late..

Relentless gripes

I can't believe it, I'm complaining about bus rides again. I really can't help it! People on the bus are really pissing me off. Pardon the strong language, but can't these people adopt some kind of courtesy or at least a wee bit of consideration for their fellow passengers. Sheesh, and some bus drivers, I really don't understand how a bus ride of a total of five stops could take 20 minutes and even allowed bicycles to overtake.

We do have a well planned network of public transport and I'm not doubting the efficiency of which. Bless them, for Night-Rider services too (althought none of them goes to my place), but for goodness sake, if they want to justify the rising of fares, they should up the service standards at the same time. At least do a proper maintenance of their vehicles. Some rickety old buses are just about as old as my brother (I'm serious, I've seen them since he was born) and the air-conditioning needs to be blowing cool air, not hot musty air.

Ok, enough of my relentless gripes about my bus rides. I'm feeling more relaxed now after my MR test, but damn it I still have 5 projects, of which 4 of them we have not touched. Ok, maybe I'm not panicking YET.

Nevertheless, it has been a great week, although I was kinda disappointed with the lantern festival display at the Chinese Gardens. Still, I managed to spend quality time with dear as usual, and it was something different from trudging down boring Orchard Road.

Ok, I'm a very very fortunate man.. I gained 0.1kg. Hahaha!

千里之外

This is Jay Chou's collaboration with 小哥 Fei Yu Qing in his latest album. This song is titled "Thousands of Kilometres Away", literally and loosely translated. The first chorus is really classic Fei Yu Qing in his mannerisms when singing, and his voice is still top notch.

I love this song.. Pretty sad MV though...

OK I'm going back to study.. Enjoy!

Great week

This has been a great week. It has been a far cry from last week with all the crazy tendencies.

Damn, it has been too much rice in the last 24 hours. I don't need a reminder that my IPPT window has officially opened and I have a year to clear it, well, less than a year to be precise.

Watching Army Daze on Youtube. Gives me the hoots..

2 posts in 2 hours. Yes I'm bored...

Piling up!

Ah.... Everything is just starting to pile up. But I found out the cause of my stress, and suffice to say, I have tackled that problem. So now, I'm gonna take things easy, well not easy easy, but easy. Oh well, whatever.

Saw a Focus ST today. DAMN it sounded really GOOOD.

Breakfast lunch dinner tomorrow! I'm gonna do some brainstorming now...

Oh and finally Discovery RT has the latest instalment of Fifth Gear.

Hmmm... Its gonna be a busy Friday night me thinks.

My Space

No, that’s not the MSN social networking site.

Flipping through the 2007 IKEA catalogue has ignited a burning desire to have my very own crib and I could do with some personal space.

One of the most important places in my house will be the bedroom, where I have my very sacred and important BED, and my personal desk, bookshelf, Hi-fi, DVD player, TV and computer.

Next is the kitchen. I DO cook up a storm most of, if not all the time. That’s why I need the space to move around my sink, stove, table and fridge. Yes the fridge must be in a prominent location in the kitchen for easy access when I need a late night snack.

Then I want a walk-in wardrobe so that I can just stand there and mix and match till I decide what to wear.

When oh when will I have this?

I need...

.....a good movie, a good dinner and some retail therapy after ER and before I start on another of my countless assignments.

MR test is coming up right after that.

Is there anyway you can do retail therapy without digging into the pockets?

Stress reliever!

My throat kinda hurts now....

Jaana..

Realisation

I admit, this is not the easiest period I'm going through in my life right now.

But I realised that I am extremely fortunate to be showered with love, care and concern from people around me.

I thought I was usually collected and impassive, but quite honestly, I haven't been. I was able to hold my emotions externally, but it was about to implode within.

Thank you everybody. As I said, this has to be the best birthday I could remember. Greetings and gifts, thoughts and wishes. But the one gift that is ever so priceless is friendship and kinship, and I've got all that. My biggest gift this year is not something, but someone.

I will continue to be strong and brave anything that is thrown at me. For I know that there are people who love and care for me!

Anyway, I absolutely detest taking the bus to school and back, period.
