Stress..

My very own definition of S.T.R.E.S.S is,

Self-induced Tension, Rubbish, Expectations, which are Superfluous and Silly.

How to get rid of that?

Self-belief, expect less, do my best, work hard and play hard.. I can overcome it!

I love...

I love to eat, although local food can be unhealthy...

I love cars, although I do not have my own ride...

I love school, although I can't say the same about projects and exams...

I love to shop, although I usually end up breaking the bank...

I love to write, although my inspiration fizzles out sporadically...

I love to read, although there are a thousand and one good books out there...

I love football, although I'm usually more of a spectator than a player...

I love to run, although my stamina is starting to abandon me...

I love the beach, although I can never get tanned...

I love music, although my MP3 player's earphones are not the best...

I love to travel, although I have limited funds to do so...

I love chocolates, although excessive amounts give me a sore throat...

I love the company of my brathers, although we seldom meet up these days...

I love my family and friends, for they are my pillars of support...

I love my dear, for entering my life and bringing happiness to me, for feeding me so well all the time, and much more...

Life is beautiful with love!

One afternoon like this...

Time now.. 1531hrs, GMT +8..

Up above is a vast cloudless blue sky, not unlike the skin of me blog..

The sun is blazing. I reckon its 33 degree celsius, at least...

I'm walking around half naked in my house with the fan on full blast. I hope no kaypohs in the opposite block will peep and call the cops. Since when there's a rule that states you can't walk around half naked in your OWN HOME. Duh.. stupid court case. The law is often misinterpreted, and more often than not by narrow minded idiots.

Feeling bitchy.. Must be the weather.. Ignore me...

Talking cars

Its no longer the stuff dreams are made of, or 'Knight Rider', if anyone can remember that late 70s early 80s show? In fact, it has very much become reality, thanks to technology. These days, you can actually talk to cars and they will reply to you in a synthesized voice.

This, ladies and gentlemen is the UK-spec Honda Civic. When can I get my hands on one of these?? Just watch it! The part where Mr Tom Ford asks, "Find nearest pub.." and the car comes out with a list of them, is absolutely amazing.

Children of today..

Seriously, they are terribly spoilt brats, or their parents don't know how to discpline them, either way, its horrible! If they behave in such a manner at such a tender age, God knows what will become of them when they grow up?!

I saw a kiddo bite her father on the bus yesterday because she was playing with her mother's mobile and would not return it to her to make a call. Me thinks the parents should be blamed for not taking her in hand. She must be getting what she wants all the time, and now they can't take things away from her.

So these kids are going to be the pillars of our nation in the future? Our economical and social establishments will be pinned upon them? If parents don't start to discipline their children from young, I think I might need to migrate soon.

Anyway, so much for the bitching. CK's car's exhaust is bigger than a bus' and I can't quite comprehend why such a gargantuan thing can be legal. An indication of how big it is? Well, just look at this below.

That kinda explains everything doesn't it? I don't blame him for having this constant fear and paranoia that his car would get scratched by green-eyed people when parked somewhere. I would be paranoid too..

I think it would take quite a while before the feeling really sinks in. :)

3 Weddings and a dollar..

I can't believe it, I'm attending my 3rd wedding in two months! Thats like, ALOT.

Its a Saturday afternoon and we are discussing what can we do when we only have a dollar? Whacky...

And I found this absolutely wicked clip! Its so damn cool, comprising of my favourite car and a 'hip-hop' version of one of my favourite musicals! Enjoy!

Just singing.. Just singing... In the rain.....

10 reasons why I need a car...

Because taxi fares have increased. Buses and trains will follow shortly.. And..

..So that I don't have to endure body odour, bad breath, cigarette smells and any other kind of bodily or biological fumes..

..So that I don't have to duck when some people decide to let fly a sneeze or cough incessantly without covering their mouths..

..So that I don't have to share the scarce air-conditioning with 20 other people..

..So that I don't have to bash my knees against the seatbacks all the time due to a lack of legroom..

..So that I don't have to wait under the hot sun for what seems to be an eternity for the bus to come..

..So that I don't have to get molested and shoved around with every peak hour crowd..

..So that I can carry bulky objects around without feeling cumbersome..

..So that I can hear my music properly through speakers instead of my lousy earphones..

..So that I can get more sleep and still get to my destination on time..

Video of the day..

Artiste: Linkin Park
Song: Numb
Album: Meteora

Lyrics:
I'm tired of being what you want me to be
Feeling so faithless lost under the surface
Don't know what you're expecting of me
Put under the pressure of walking in your shoes
(Caught in the undertone just caught in the undertone)
Every step I take is another mistake to you
(Caught in the undertone just caught in the undertone)

I've become so numb I can't feel you there
I've become so tired so much more aware
I've becoming this all I want to do
Is be more like me and be less like you

Can't you see that you're smothering me
Holding too tightly afraid to lose control
Cause everything that you thought I would be
Has fallen apart right in front of you
(Caught in the undertone just caught in the undertone)
Every step that I take is another mistake to you

(Caught in the undertone just caught in the undertone)
And every second I waste is more than I can take

I've become so numb I can't feel you there
I've become so tired so much more aware
I've becoming this all I want to do
Is be more like me and be less like you

And I know
I may end up failing too
But I know
You were just like me with someone disappointed in you

I've become so numb I can't feel you there
I've become so tired so much more aware
I've becoming this all I want to do
Is be more like me and be less like you

I've become so numb I can't feel you there
Is everything what you want me to be
I've become so numb I can't feel you there
Is everything what you want me to be

More and more of them...

Yesterday, I saw 4 different Golf GTIs on ONE single street. This increasing popularity of my favourite hot hatch/car only means that more people are recognising how good this motor is. It is practical, solid, dynamic, fun and very understated.

So, seeing that many means that there might be a shortage of stocks right now, but it also means that it is beginning to garner a strong following here and in five years time, I should be able to get a mint second-hand example for a reasonable and affordable price without much difficulties.

Hopes and dreams make you want to keep going.

Hair-raising issues...

The fact is, people get so restricted with their hair during their national service, that upon completion of service, they just have to go all out and give their hairstyles the so-called "freedom of expression". Its like constipation, where everything is held back for so long and finally when it all comes out, it never rains but pours.

So voila! Presenting to you, our very own version of Richard Gere and his all-gray cape. More birds, more luck!!

Chocolates, durians and the weather..

Seriously, if I carry on the intake of heaty stuff at this rate in this kinda weather, I'm going to suffer from internal combustion. No, its not like an internal combustion engine, where by the spark plugs will ignite the fuel in the cylinders and propel the pistons for the engine to work. For me, it will be the combination of heaty food and the external weather to bring temperatures within me to stratospheric levels. In hokkien, it is known as "Pu-Jua"..

I'm drinking like a cow to counter that!

This is so nice that I finished it in a day and a half...

World Cup love

It is no secret that all the men on the pitch are extremely passionate when it comes to a World Cup game. We see hugging, kissing, nut-grabbing in practically every game. So, it has become somewhat of an affectionate affair. Still, nothing beats what Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard made of Wayne Rooney's dismissal, following England's embarrasing exit to Portugal in the quarter-finals:

"I haven't seen Wayne but when I see him I will give him a big hug because he is my team-mate and he is getting no blame from me because I love him."

Totally unrelated to the above matter, look at this below..

GERMANY
16 Philip Lahm | Defender
Born: November 11, 1983
Height: 1.70m
Weight: 61 kg
Age: 22
Club: Bayern Munich

I'm of the same age, exact same height and weight as him. But he's flying high with the German national team at the World Cup while I'm, well, sitting here blogging about the World Cup. Talk about contrasting fortunes...
