Pigs vs. Dogs

Brather Wayne mentioned to me last night that pigs actually have a stronger sense of smell than dogs. They are said to be able to smell up to two feet underground.

Of course what... Pigs have bigger nostrils don't they?

Money money money...

The truth is, paying fees is never an enjoyable affair...

Its like one moment, you see the nice figures sitting pretty in your bank account, the next, at the swipe of a card and the swing of a pen, the figures will fall drastically. And no, you get no satisfaction out of this when compared to, say, walking out of Adidas with your hands full of merchandise in shopping bags or walking out of Crystal Jade with a bloated but satisfied tummy.

Talking about the future with my dear brather made me sit up and realise one thing: there's so much for me to achieve yet there's so little time to do so.

I don't know if its a societal norm or some kinda pressure or expectations laid upon you due to what everyone else is doing. All our futures are written out in a template form and its kinda scary. Its like, get an education, get a job, look after your parents, get married, have kids, provide for your kids, watch them grow up, then they will carry on this cycle.

Why is it so controlled? Why don't I have a say in what I want to do? And why is it that I, being 2x years old this year will be 2xx years old when I graduate and land my first job. That only leaves me with X years to achieve my goals AND I SERIOUSLY FEEL THAT I DO NOT HAVE ENOUGH TIME TO ACHIEVE THEM.

How? Panic? Sh!t I don't know...

We all know that designer apparel brands such as Gucci, Prada, Hugo Boss command a premium in price. Same thing goes for designer watches, accessories, bags and even cars. But for fruits? One might ask. Yes, its pretty unbelievable at first, but I have evidence to back my claims up.

Wedding day!

My dear cousin Yun Ling-jie has tied the knot today! Well, actually, yesterday cos its like morning now. It has been a crazy day, all the saboh-ing of the groom and his brothers, rain, preperations, dinner, videos and pictures. Its hectic but really really fun. Still feeling euphoric, though its not my wedding.. Glad to see the big sister I have seen since young finally settling down with a great guy!

Oh Dave, you will take care of my cousin won't you? Hahaa... Eh, don't think he will see this but anyway... :P















This is actually the toilet.. Will post pics with the gorgeous bride and suave groom (not to forget the equally pretty cousins and handsome brother) once I get them!

Excessive drinking...

.... is not good for health.

Firstly, carrying a 5-litre keg around Orchard Road and then bringing it home by taking MRT is no joke.

Secondly, when you go drinking and at the end of it pick up the tab, its not good for the heart when you see how much it costs.

I love to write. I don't know why, but its a form of expression that I can partake to pen down what I think and feel. Since I'm better in expressing myself in writing than in speech, why not do it here on my personal space?

I find it weird since I had quite a bit of hesitation to start this blog but I have been enjoying it since I started. Writing nothing but rubbish and thoughts and looking back sometimes, I managed to surprise myself with what I wrote.

Again, I would like to reiterate that my blog is not about my life. Its a collection of my thoughts and encounters, interesting and not-so-interesting stuff I would like to share with my readers and bring a smile to them. Ok, sometimes the stuff I write are pretty lame, but well, I would like to think of it as bringing some laughter and joy to my readers. Its kinda like a read-laugh-forget sequence.

Oh, and watching Fashion Avenue on Discovery T&L confirmed what I thought all these while. Gays have very good fashion sense. I'm serious. They are the only people who can carry off flamboyant clothing nicely. But still, don't think I will do a flamboyant dress sense anytime, cos I still look good in my boring t-shirt and jeans I reckon. So no skin tight tees, aviator shades, hot pants, EARRINGS (hee hee) =P anytime soon.

The Mitsubishi i-Style is such a cute kei-car. A rear mid-ship layout for the engine and a tiny turbocharged 659cc 3-cylinder sounds like alot of fun!

Almost 50% of the cars sold by Peugeot here are targeted at ladies; the 206, 206cc, 307cc and the recently launched 1007. Especially the 1007, just look at the TVC and you can see why.

The new semester is starting soon. Good in a sense cos I'll be seeing my dear brather around in sch. I must work hard and build on my good grades this semester. No more PA grade!

Inspired when I woke up this morning....

Have you ever wondered why do you wake up in the morning with your breath smelling, erm, unfresh? Yes.. This is known as Halitosis, commonly known as bad breath.

Morning breath is the most common example of transient bad breath. Transient bad breath is a very temporary condition caused by things such as oral dryness, stress, hunger, eating garlic, smoking, or poor oral hygiene. It can gradually disappear on its own, quite simply by brushing one's teeth.

Now picture this. Isn't it sweet to wake up every morning to see the face of your loved one next to you? But when the husband opens his eyes, sees his wife, smiles and proceeds to open his mouth to say, "Good morning dear....", it will release a bout of morning breath (maybe laced with hints of garlic and overtures of durians from the night before) together with the greeting.

How sweet is that?

Sometimes, I really feel like I'm living in the mountains.. Hey I'm serious. I look out of my window and I see nothing but greenery. From my room, I can see the city skyline. When it rains, this is what I see...

World Cup mania

Everyone everywhere is getting into the swing of things. Look at merchandises all over the shops as you walk down Orchard Road. Even brands and stores that are totally unrelated to sports are trying to cash in on the World Cup fever. Every corner you turn will have the World Cup emblazoned all over the place.

Yes.. The beautiful game, everybody loves it. Footy anyone?

Lately, everyone's got a blog. Well, almost everyone. It is a place where people vent their frustrations, share their thoughts, post pictures, talk about their lives, and so on.

My blog? It's a personal space for me to pen my thoughts, not one where I keep a daily account of my life.

So don't think that you know what is going on in my life just by reading my blog, cos you obviously don't know as much as those around me whom I constantly keep in touch with. Besides, I'm much more reserved than you think, so there's no way you know me simply by reading my blog. I'm only exercising my rights to write and post pictures here because this is my blog and I have plenty of nonsense to share, when I am in the mood to do so.
